How the system works
The laser weld tracking sensor uses a laser to illuminate the weld surface to form a laser light band, which is received and imaged by a high-definition camera. Through algorithm processing, the three-dimensional features of the weld are convert ed into structured information, including weld joint coordinates, misalignment, gap, etc. This information is transmitted to th e robot controller, which provides the robot with the trajectory and process parameters required for welding, guides the rob ot to weld in real time or correct workpiece deviations, and achieves perfect welding work. Compared with other solutions, laser weld tracking has the advantages of non-contact, high precision, high speed, and good adaptability.
